Word of God Christian Academy has the following immediate openings for its 2002 - 2003 school year:
Position requires a minimum of a 4-year college degree in Education with prior proven classroom success at this level and area. Strong written, verbal and administrative skills are essential. Candidate should be a self-starter with the ability to provide counseling for students when necessary and support extra curricular activities. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, attention to detail and the ability to multi-task are essential in this role.
Food Service Worker
The Food Service Department is looking for a motivated candidate to fill a part- time position as a food service worker. If you enjoy children and have experience cooking and cleaning. Please contact Leslie Johnson at: 919-834-1141 ext. 2234.
Duties Include:
- Assist in food prep, cooking and line serving.
- Manual commercial dishwashing.
- Mop, clean and sanitize commercial kitchen and concessions area to health and sanitation guidelines.
- Dry and refrigeration storage of inventory.
- Able to lift at least 20 lbs on a consistent basis.
- Must be customer service oriented, able to work with children.
- Assist with departmental reports on meals served and
prepared daily.
- Other duties as specified by food service director.
At least a high school graduate, with some food service background preferred.
