The Word of God Christian Day Care has consistently received superior ratings from the N.C. Division of Child Development and in accordance with state regulations.
An annual physical examination and updated immunization records are required prior to enrollment of each child.
Full participation fire drills are conducted on a monthly basis.

Discipline:
|
We believe that God gives children to parents, not to a church or the state. Therefore, when all other forms of discipline, such as admonition and time-out, fail to result in controlling or shaping the child's behavior appropriately, the parent(s) is informed and asked to come and administer the necessary discipline or remove their child for a specified period of time. A private area is provided for parent and child, should the parent desire to administer corporal discipline.

Our teachers are trained to be sensitive to the observance of children's behavior. We recognize that your child is continually maturing spiritually, socially, intellectually, emotionally, and physically through things which (s)he encounters in his/her environment. Since many of the child's waking hours are spent in our care we purpose to maintain open lines of communication with parents so that they will be aware of all aspects of their child's education. Therefore, we send home daily reports to keep parents apprised of their child's conduct and comportment.
